DonJuan, I understand what you are saying but there times when there just isn't any conclusive information available about a particular item. I collect and ride vintage bicycles and there are times when you simply cannot have a definitive answer. As just one example, I have a bicycle frameset...
This reminds me of the old Car Talk feature "Stump the Chumps". $100 is definitely optimistic on the part of that seller. I guess that's why it has a "Make An Offer" available on it.
DonJuan, I'm not very familiar with Borsalino hats, having only two in my "collection". I know that one of the hats is a "Made in USA" version. Both hats have sweatbands made of some of the softest leather I've yet to encounter for this application.
Based on what I can see of your hat, it...
Yeah, don't you know that! There was a Strat box on eBay recently with a pretty reasonable BIN price that I missed out on getting. I'm still kicking myself on that one.

Yeah, once we're moved back into the house, I will start looking into some hat racks. Right now things are too ripped up to even come up with a plan.

When we moved into our new home earlier this year, we were quite happy with the amount of closet space we had. At this point, with all the hats I've been purchasing since I found this forum, closet space is rapidly dwindling. What was I thinking? :eusa_doh:

This arrived in the mail today: Dobbs Rainbow. It has the finest embroidered liner tip I have encountered to date. One other thing that wasn't apparent from the pictures is that it has a Cavanagh edge.

SBG, I really dig the pug on your Stetson. Very classy. And that Flagship!!! Words just cannot describe what a stunning hat that is.
Bob, I like the look of your Jaxon Porkpie. I have a fairly nice straw porkpie that's not seen much head time because I've been reluctant to snap the brim down...
Thanks tommyK. It's basically my first try at shaping an open crown hat. I wanted to do something quick and easy and a cattleman crease was the ticket. It's far from perfect, but that's ok since I'll probably be doing a lot of tinkering with this hat.

Here's my new BG CD with a quick dry crease. I now understand all the fuss people have been making about these hats. These hats are a really incredible value.
Moehawk, hat looks great. I like the ribbon that you currently have on it, personally.
Anyway, today my Bluegrass Green Campdraft arrived, so I did a quick cattleman style dry crease and started wearing it. It is a super nice hat and I can't wait to get the Silverbelly Campdraft Deluxe.
