I have a Beaufort in 36 but i felt the sleeves are getting a little short when layered with a heavy sweater.
I've tried Border in 36 and felt the same and liked it more in 38 (fits more like a coat)
Not my size, but great price!
I am thinking about getting this coat as well but having only tried the Border so far. This is supposed to be heavier waxed cotton?
I'm somewhat sure that this is a Steinback not Nelson.
The Nelson is one piece of leather on the back and does not have the center line of threading.

I am waiting for the day to come for the tunneling!
And I think you're right. I don't have any other rider style jackets to compare with but the collar does look pretty big sometimes lol.
One thing I don't get from mine (newer version) is how high the bottom-end of the zipper is. It might...
Here's me with a sweatshirt and a vest inside in 1 celcius weather.
It still bugs me how long the sleeves are when it's just worn over a t-shirt. But I guess the time will come .
Do the sleeves shorten a bit with the arm creases? I was shown at the store with a 1 year old jacket and it got maybe 3cm shorter compared to the new one.
I'm hoping mine will do the same.
I am 100% on the same boat as you are.
I got the hs005 model with a bit different back design than yours.
I had the choice of both 38 and 40 but was much much more encouraged to get the 40 by the guy working there. The 40 fits almost identical as your photo and the 38 makes it look a bit too...
Hello!
The chest and shoulder measurement seems kinda like a current size 38 RMC 30s sport jacket?
Do you think it could be a bigger fit than current rmc leather jackets?
I'm size 38 in both the A2 and 30s sport jacket and wondering if this would fit me.
