From what I've seen, only the sewn welt brims are available, and generally not on the best of hats. Art does not do the welts, but he does great work with a ribbon binding. Also, search for the new Stetson Windham. It's an interesting hat, but very tapered crown. Not the best for a...- Not-Bogart13

Lightweight felt
I also had that happen - one from Art, another was a vintage. A touch of steam, as cooncat suggests. You could also pop the dents out of the crown and put a t-shirt in it for a couple of days after you steam it. Then reshape gently by hand. As far as I know, Borso only has one 100% beaver hat, and I think it's called the Beaver. And it's like $400 or something. :eek: I'm adicted to Art's hats. I prefer the feather on the Windham, so I kept mine. Although I trimmed it a little. My main fear is the dye running. With a dark hat, it would be obvious, you know. I need advice on picking out an Indy style fedora
What I know is that (if the hats are ready) AB will be allowed to ship the hats on the day that the movie comes out - so you wouldn't have it in time for opening night.
