New Stetson hat - Need advice
I sometime wear the pin in my black Stetson, and I have no trouble taking it on and off. The touch of gold on the all-black hat bresses it up nicely. Wow...Dorfman Pacific Fur Felt Indy
I didn't realize that liner logo dated back to 2003. Regardless, you got a fair hat... better than most are willing to say. A friend has that exact hat, I think. Just as an aside, sort of... I recently was told (in a complimentary way) that I "look like Harrison Ford in that hat". I was wearing one of my VS hats, and it wasn't even brown. Borso's do get mix reviews, but I think their crusher gets bad word of mouth very consistantly. As for Akubra - There's a reason they keep coming up, you know. lol I didn't realize the Casual was a crusher, so I guess they have a good spot in all the rabbit fur felt markets.- Not-Bogart13

Best Crushable Hats
Country Gentleman is OK in terms of looks, and they hold together fairly well. However they are 100% wool, and the cold wind cuts right through them. A decent ballcap is warmer in the wind than a Country Gentleman!- Not-Bogart13

How do you store your hats?
If you have the means and space to display a collection proudly, I don't see why you shouldn't. Be sure to use or make a stand that will hold each hat without causing any harm to the hat shape. Oh, and use some cedar in your design to protect the hats. I can only dream of such a display...- Not-Bogart13

Desperately seeking 7 1/2 brown fedora
I was just considering selling off my chocolate brown Dobbs. It has a 2 inch brim with stictched overwhelt. Current bash is 4 1/4" in front, 4 1/2" at highest point.
