    Bow Ties

I sense that a larger tie might not be what's called for... but I'm not yet sure... lol lol lol

You think I should sell a few?

Spoken like a true fat-ribbon lover! lol (and he's right, you know. :o )

You think I should sell a few?

So, lemme get this straight. You're auctioning off hats, bragging about it, and not posting in the Classified. That's dirty. :rage:

    Cuff link Q

I'm thinking that's for tuxedo shirts. My friend got a set like that with his rental when he was in a wedding party - cufflinks and studs. Most tux shirts can be buttoned using the normal buttons, or the studs to dress it up between the bowtie and the cumberbund.

    Bow Ties

Try searching youtube for a video. I found it easier than following diagrams and written instructions. I watch three and nailed it in about 15 minutes!

Adventurebilt hats - anyone ordered from?

Great news, Johnny! So far, my first from two years ago still looks brand new, and it's seen rain, snow, and diet pepsi. So, I think it can take a little punishment. :D

    Stetson "Nostalgia"? (now with pics)

For the most part, and in this case, I second that. However, I do believe that for every possible style and configuration of hat, there is always one specimen that defies it's detractors!

    WTB - Gray Blazer/Sport Jacket size 50

These days, it's hard to find my size. Some the major chain stores like Macy's stock a few, but they don't cut them right in the arms anymore. :( So, I'd like to find a sport jacket or blazer in size 50. Nothing currently available at Macy's, JC Penney's, Bon Ton, or Lord and Taylor. I...

    Bow Ties

Thanks, guys. I doubt I'll wear the tie with either of those shirts, honestly. They are casual style, really. The lighter one is what I had on when I received the tie. Then I switched to the nearest shirt with a collar that would make the tie stand out. I've come to like bow ties as a...

    Bow Ties

First Bow Tie - Opinions? OK, I finally own a real bow tie for the first time in my life. One video later, I can even tie it. I took a couple of pictures that are terrible indoor shots with bad lighting, but right now I just want a sense of what people think about the proportions. This is...

What is the name for "Lightweight Canvas"

If I'm not mistaken, they use Egyptian Cotton to make bedding. Sheets and stuff. Summer weight I think. Probably not what you're after.

    Stetson "Nostalgia"? (now with pics)

I love the wide ribbon (sorry fellas). They are far too rare these days. And that review and those pictures tell me I must have one. I just want to wait and see what the bound edge version looks like.

    Raider's Dimensions please!

Well. That takes care of that, don't it?

Adventurebilt hats - anyone ordered from?

For those wondering, I have received one of two AB's on order from last June. It took just over 13 months, and Steve is nearly done with June orders (his highest volume month). I think he ended up with so many June hats that he's been on them for the last three months! And I did...

    AUCTION #68: Lee - All American - Size 7 1/2 - C0000228978-closed

You may be right, but if I may make an observation... Of the auctions I've paid attention to, the one with the highest final price (and the most bidding action) was one of the low-ball starting bids. Yes, that means there were more "losers" than usual, but I think the lower start bid generated...

Some bad news (now getting better!)

Oh, thank goodness. Good to here you'll be a-ok, Art. It feels like I just got the great news on a member of my own family. What am I saying? I did. ;)
