    You might be a Long Oval. Most modern hats are only made in standard oval (unfair, to say the least), and I've experienced some brands that are rounder than others. Sometimes a reblock or a good stretching into a long oval will help. Many with that head shape complain about marks on the head...

    Well, in the movie, the bar was in Nepal. But the hats are usually associated with sherpas in many tv and movie portrayals, so maybe a search for "sherpa hat" would actually work. lol

    I find it difficult to smile for a posed picture in most cases, especially if I'm taking my own picture (which is usually the case). So it's kind of forced. The results are dreadful, so I don't get many smiles in my avatar pics.
