Thanks for Tea
Thanks Harry
Great bit of film, reminds me of Saturday morning cinema. Should be compulsive viewing in schools IMHO.
Also like the "springtime in a English village" and the 1950's cycle BFI film.

Starbay furniture bar trunk
Jambo all
While not clothing, I have found this range of furniture that suits most of this site but the bar trunk would suit a safari under canvas don't you think. The campaign table would also befitting of adventurer's...
I managed to watch the "The Dambuster" last year. I have watched this film on TV and DVD loads of times but it could not beat the big screen. I felt more upset by the aircraft losses and the sound of the aircraft engines had you on the seat edge (and this is in mono!) this is how it should be...
I have a print of Gerald Coulson's "Harvest 1940" which I got about 20 years ago. I remember seeing the orginal oil painting and it made you feel like ducking out of the way. It sold for £2500. Then 6 months later it was for re-sale for £5000 and with a limited signed prints. The print does not...

Hi
Do not stand the brush on it's base, the water will rot the bristle at the base after a while.
Kent's do a cheap plastic looking one that would work while you get you replacement.

I have not watched it yet but while on vacation I brought a Hitchcock DVD collection (20 films all early) from Walmart for $5 I pay more for magazines in the UK, anyway it has the orginal "39 Steps" and I plan to watch it later today.
I prefer Kenneth More's 50's version but I do like this...
Hi Hemingway,
Great looking jacket. I used to have similar looking jacket from Camel Trophy but it fell apart after lots of use. Now I can see how to replace that void it caused with it's demise.
Looks good on you, too.
On another note have just found a great "fade to glory" sand/khaki...
Thanks Chaps.
I like the thought of a removable one. I will give it a go.
Photo's just need to find some time to take a few at present.

Akubra Safari Hat
Hello Chaps,
I have bought a Akubra Safari hat, "Styled like the safari hats of old but with a modern flair" It's my first felt hat and I am really pleased with it
Took three months of waiting for it to arrive but I have brought it along to Indonesia with me to shade me...
The orginal story with these walking sticks is that the wood comes from an old broken wagon that an old african guy knew about and brought at auction. They are not loaded and have a M&M button on the top, it was about £40 when they first added it to the site. The button has their Pith helmet...

Hello Mojave Jack.
Like the chairs but I prefer Roorkee chairs from Melvill and Moon, sorry, I will need to take a photo of my two and upload them. However,
Here's the bed to go with those chairs.
I think Ralph Lauren's equestrian check bed cover would go well with this...
