The Samples Are Rather Generous
I don't know if anyone has brought this up (forgive me for not reading the entire thread thoroughly! :o ), but on the website it says that the samples are enough "for about 3 applications."
I got samples of the lipstick and eyeshadow and it's been almost three...
Mine's in my signature.
It's all about 1920s and 1930s movies and movie stars. LOTS of pictures! I also like to review recently watched movies or talk about books I've recently read. Every once in a while I'll talk about the 80s because I love them, too. I also like things like...
Peking Tokyo.
When I order over the phone I usually get "Is this for Amy? How are you?"
They know me and my husband very well!
The usual: either Sushi Lunch or Sushi Deluxe with a Philadelphia Roll. Mmmmmmmmm
Novella hits the nail on the head with Mr. Powell. Actually, I think he's one of the more conventionally attractive guys that I like. I mean, I REALLY find Allen Jenkins (previous page) kinda sexy. :o
But back to Dick...I didn't find him attractive at first, but after seeing him over and...
Who's Jewelry Savvy?
My grandmother gave me this bracelet in 2003. She had it in a box full of costume jewelry and has no idea what, where, or who this came from. I'm linking the photos because I want to keep them big so you can see the details...
Red
All shades of Pink, but I like Hot Pink best.
Pink goes great with Silver or Black!
Those are my main favourites. Runners-up are:
Purple
Yellow
White
The only decent picture I had of my lipstick and it's from 2004! Oh well...I still look the same and wear the same colour; Revlon's Love That Red.
Whoa -- my old glasses look HUGE for some reason ;)
YES!! In the 80s I had a serious "thing" for swoopy hair in the face! All the little skater boys had the same 'do -- I was so crushed out.
I was, too. He was my very first celebrity crush. I had photos of him in my Trapper Keeper in 5th Grade. *sigh*
I wouldn't mind seeing that!
I loved reading all your stories, too! :)
As for me, I was most certainly born this way. It is a carry-over from my former life ;) Really, when I was a little kid I'd always be scared/fascinated with old stuff. I'd watch old movies all the time and really had no idea why I was so...
I just used my husband's old London address and his old British credit card number and my total came out to $3.00. Are you choosing "Sample Shipping" at the top?
:offtopic: Ok, not to go too far off topic, but you look a LOT like Jean Arthur in this picture!!
Just had to say that -- when I see a dame who looks like a classic films star, I HAVE to point it out. I have no control over it :o
I don't think I've ever had so much fun at work while looking at this thread. Here's mine...
I was addicted to MTV as a kid....
I still got it bad for these guys; especially Morrissey :o
And let me add...
Haha!! I had it baaaaaaad for Jordan.
