Irvin/B3/A2 inspirations... Burberry aviator jackets
Just one more comment. A lot of people know that I am into Irvin jackets and stuff. And several of them has mailed or called me, telling me that Burberry is now makin "pilot/flying jackets just like yours". Well - they don't. Yes - it was Flying Legends 2010. I remember I asked here who did the painting, when the poster came out. I should have known it was Alex Hamilton, having one of his (IMO) very best prints hanging right before my nose. "Tally Ho" -

A Safari Jacket Potpourri.....lots of pics
Some time ago I bought one of the Bush jackets from WPG. I like it a lot, great fit and great quality. There's only one thing, I do not like about it: The colour! I find it way too "new" - too dark. Will a lot of washing help? Plus letting it dry in the sun? Or should I try to bleach it...- Spitfire

I have been wondering a bit on why people collect uniforms from The Third Reich. Why do you collect uniforms at all? It’s hardly the same as someone who collects stamps or coins is it? I also believe that you choose your collection from historic interests and/or a design value. Nobody...
