That's good to know that I ordered the best they have to offer with the premium seal goatskin lol and I'm sure they will nail the 3rd jacket even better
Right?! Thats just nicely done, no matter who/where made it. It looks quality and great job on the jacket maker/patterner and to Tony for...
I see your point expecting the photos to match real life, bummer it don't match your expectations. I'm sure it's as you say that it is tan up close and personal, I just hope the jacket grows on you.
Great point on asking for reference stitching on a sample leather before deciding as it will...
Yes, this jacket will make me work to stay in shape too so that's a plus! Thank you
Field Leathers jacket
Route 66 Cafe Racer (based off of buco j100 I believe)
Brown Aniline Shinki (Smells sweet and good hand feel, easy to break in just little bruise to shoulders/bend of arm, doesn't bead off...
Finally a cool day to wear a jacket. Love the leather and the jacket has molded To my frame really well. I made the mistake of giving shoulder measurement that's 0.5" too small, so it's a little taut on the neck/clavicle area but hoping to gently massage/pull/stretch some more.
Yep, I saw that too and I think I remember looking at it at the store. The cordovan I see here on the forum looks richer but hard to say really. I have 3 other black jackets coming so it might be a little too much if I order the black overdye too. Maybe I'll pick between the brown vs burgundy.
So cool to have the same jacket for so long but so much cooler to be in the same body weight/frame range that you didn't end up giving away the jacket due to fit issues.
