Agreed, don't mind it if Greg is busy and has plenty of orders. My 1st order remake is still not delivered and also have the j24 order from august on hold. I hope more people get to know him and his business and that FL continues to grow.
@Marc mndt i really like how that black full aniline...
I think North Star has a black cxl PHWM, don't know the size. @handymike wears a 36 I believe. @ton312 used to have one too then he moved it on. @Nykwil has a 42 in BB Vicenza. Not sure who else owns one.
I think you’re absolutely right. There can be several reasons to want to get in full outdoor gear. I just find it funny cause for me that is strictly utilitarian clothing. I realise other people see it differently. I do have a full fjällräven outfit as well, but for me I reserve it for longer...
I also have a Premier HWM on order and I modified the shoulder length of the size 36 jacket to a 17.5" as the stock measurement was too small (size 36 is 16.5" and size 38 is 17").
Man, hard to argue with that picture that you shared, it really is uncanny.
I do see what you meant, that's just...
I went hiking a couple of times this summer, and you see can still see this from time to time. Not as common as they used to be 5 years ago but they’re still there. Although this summer I only saw them with old ladies, which makes sense to me. They should help with balance.
The funniest shit...
Feels just like wearing a grown up version of a chuck taylor to me so I feel more comfortable wearing them and feels more of a laid back attire. Also both lace to toe styles I have fit me so well, and it also holds my feet in place better. When I wear service boots it feels a little bit more...
I know them a little as I love my free note cloth waxed jacket. I also have a wool blend button up shirt from them, I'd buy more of their shirts but they are too long for my short self lol
I missed out on their denim jeans sale last time around because I don't know my size and it's non...
Agreed, love those stretchy denim for plane travel. Sigh I miss flying now even though I hated flying before lol
Cant beat the value and price, looks like is the top pick for me for entry level selvedge
Thanks for the kind offer @handymike but it's most likely too large on me. for levis I wear a 29 slim tapered and 30 if it's skinny. Thanks again
Learning lots about denim and it's care. thanks for sharing all the tips and tricks of the trade.
I saw those, they look great. I might want to try something in a slim straight cut.
Noted, one thing I learned from this site is always go with actual measurements compared to size tags.
Thank you. Yes, I have two badalassi boots (both in lace to toe style, didn't notice that before) and they definitely feel special to wear. I do like my service boots as well, but the 2 lace to toe/monkey boots I own are my preferred footwear at this time.
FP does make great looking monkey...
That's good to know. Thanks for sharing man.
This looks songood even after all that time. I'm not sure if I like the exaggerated fades I see a lot on the denim crowd.
That's the 2nd orslow mention here, gotta search them up. Yes, I had a 13oz raw denim jacket and that was stiff enough for...
I'll try not too buy too much just the usual black/indigo colors. Jeans all look the same to me anyways.
My thinking is exactly like this lol that's why even though I agree that they look cool I still haven't forked out the money to get one. Yes, looking at brave star and Gustin as I can...
That is great that you can keep warm with just a slim thermal. Too bad about not being able to wear a sweater but oh well you can't have everything, right!? You donwear that jacket well.
