Great news, congrats! Just in time for the cold weather.
And btw, you never did say what jacket you ordered! Let us know what you think when it comes in.
Just as a quick side note, I received my jacket yesterday and have to say it is some of the toughest, thickest leather I have encountered. Having owned 2 Aero FQHH and 4 Schotts (not all at once), it's actually stiffer and seems thicker than the FQHH, and makes the Schotts feel like sweatshirt...
Comp. weight. What styles did you order? Maybe they had a batch of enfield's planned or something along those lines, and was unrelated to my specific order. David, on the phone, mentioned that they just received a shipment of leather, when I spoke to him last Tuesday.
FYI, I placed my order for an off the rack enfield, which was out of stock , on Sept 7th. Just got the update that it's scheduled for delivery tomorrow. That's just under 6 weeks. Custom orders I'm sure are a different story.
I was told a 5 week wait for a non-custom order. They didn't have my size, but of course had one size down and one size up! That was 3 weeks ago when I asked. Anyone else with any input? I'm eagerly waiting and hope the estimate wasn't too off. Also, do they usually send an email or give a phone...
Here are the photos of the jacket zipped up. I apologize for the terrible quality and lighting. I was taking these pictures in "selfie mode" as I was home alone at the time. Peacoat is right, my main concern was the tightness of the sleeves. I will rarely if ever wear the jacket zipped up, maybe...
I will try to post some zipped up pics that I took last week, I just need to dig them out of my phone. I'm afraid the lighting quality might not be so great from what I remember.
Thank you, Monitor! I really didn't expect so many positive responses like this. So glad I asked. And even though I don't want summer to end, at least there is something positive about the cooler days ahead!
That is reassuring that having sized up probably would have been a mistake for me anyway, since I like he way it looks now and my only concern was the tightness which seems to be just getting better.
Thank you for the input, guys. I love the brown color and smell of the leather, and really like the look of a tight fitting leather jacket. Also, breaking in new fqhh is something that intrigues me. Up until this point, I have only been able to purchase used and already broken in items. Because...
Hi, my first post is a question, but I have been browsing this forum for information for years now. So many knowledgeable folks on here!
I recently bought a "new", brown, FQHH board racer with a collar in size 40. Somebody had it made for them by Thurston I believe, and it was too small for...
