    M-65 Field Jacket

I will indeed provide a report! The '43 is already on its way. I expect the '43 to be roomy given the pit to pit measurement but of course more fitted at the shoulders. I still plan to wear my '65 jackets. How can I not? They are just too cool. I'll be fine with looking like I'm wearing a...

    Military 'woolly pully' sweaters

Not sure that is accurate as I too wear my Woolly Pully sweaters with jeans, and I'm not a Marine. My Father was, so maybe that counts? Or perhaps it's because I empathize with the Marines, having suffered their entire existence under the oppressive thumb of the Navy.

LL Bean has a civilian take on the wooly pully in merino wool. I have two, they're really good sweaters, and really cheap for merino wool. https://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/43324?page=commando-sweater-crewneck They also have it in a henley style, which is what I have...

    Military 'woolly pully' sweaters

I was gifted one from my wife at Christmas in a beautiful grey colour. It’s a very comfortable sweater. I was a bit apprehensive about wearing wool as I usually can’t manage, but the merino is quite wearable for me.

Question for the forum... I recently found this wooly pully for sale on poshmark. I liked the color, so I bought it. The seller's photos showed what looked like OD knit body with khaki patches, and I thought the colors looked great together. When it arrived, I was disappointed to find...

Guppy, I’m sorry I haven’t replied to this much earlier but I’ve been having a short break from the Forum. Yesterday I wore my Moss Green Woolly Pully from Outdoor Knitwear. The elbow and shoulder patches are noticeably darker green than the sweater itself - not quite two tone but 1.5 tone, you...

Wow Eric you said plenty. I really appreciate the kind words. I have been on this website for awhile now and I have really come to appreciate the crowd very much. I've got many interests that surround fashion and style but not many people who share the same passion. It is nice to share with like...

In addition to having a leather jacket problem, I also have a a wool sweater problem.

If I were you, I would wear plain flat sweaters with the leather jacket, I love leather too, I currently own a genuine leather vest from, maybe 50 years ago.

How very unpatriotic of you. ...! More seriously, although I have worn Breton sweaters occasionally, I have very rarely departed from British military or fisherman's sweaters. This is not for nationalistic reasons, but reasons of design and aesthetics. The British WP is simply unbeatable and...
