Spongy Haptic on a Leather Jacket means what?

Pike Brothers Glendale 40's Sports Jacket today First I had to get used to the haptic of the leather (spongy feeling) and have now worn the jacket for a few weeks. Now, I have to say, I have come to love it very much. It fits perfectly. My initial doubts about the leather are gone. I recently...

Help with new Thedi Jacket details...opinions needed.

The mullholand is tricky in chest measurement. I had a size 44" at 5'11" 187 lbs. and 41" chest, which I sold due some weight loss. Now I have 167 lbs and 40" chest, tried a size 42" (Pit/Pit 22", 56cm) which is still perfect trim in fitting. From my experience in comparison to other fw jackets...

    Field Leathers

Nice jacket in cool configurations in an extraordinary leather. Without being a spoilsport, but as already mentioned, the jacket does not fit your physics in some places (upper arms, waist and back). I am sure that FL can fix these "flaws".

Spongy Haptic on a Leather Jacket means what?

Thank you, I got this info to. I think too it is nappa leather as mentioned. After wearing the jacket for a few days, it has grown into an all time fav. I've also got used to the haptic. I love this jacket now so much that I have it ordered in brown too, LOL! :)

    Fine Creek Leather

+1 This is a street fashion jacket completely missed the mark. This jacket is unsuitable for motorcycling. I f there is possibility to return the jacket, I would go with. I think that even a size smaller will not help this jacket will be suitable for motorcycling :(

FS/Interest check: Orginal Buco J65 HH Leather Jacket from 1951 Size 44"

;)I plan to sell my Buco J65 Jacket (too big on me now). Introduction: Jacket was originally refurbished at Zip Stevenson and later sold to a reseller. I got it 2nd hand. Unfortunately the lining was worn and torn. Therefore I decided to relining by professional. It was time consuming and $$...

Spongy Haptic on a Leather Jacket means what?

I don’t think the HWT will shorten the sleeve length, maybe a few mm, if any. The best way would be to shorten the sleeves. By the way, cool lightweight jacket in vintage optic…

Spongy Haptic on a Leather Jacket means what?

Thank you for your inputs. I see that too. After wearing the jacket for a few days, I don't think that this spongy/soft leather is of poor quality. At first I was a bit surprised about the haptic because I didn't know it. But I have to say I love the jacket (and the haptic) more and more. It is...

Spongy Haptic on a Leather Jacket means what?

As mentioned in the thread "What Jacket are you wearing today" Post #32124 I got a Pike Brothers Glendale (made in Portugal) cowhide leather jacket which was formerly made in Greece (Bill Kelso?). It looks like a BK Wingman. I like the jacket, really. The craftsmanship is nice, the hardware used...

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

Pike Brothers Glendale I'm not quite sure what to think of this pike brothers glendale (made in portugal) jacket, I got recently. It is the successor of the jacket originally made in greece (bill kelso?). It is visually identical to the Wingman from BK. The leather is described as cowhide. The...
