I have a Horween Chromexel belt from Rancourt in natural leather I wear with jeans and it's awesome, it does age and patina quickly and very uniquely. It's also much softer than the color 8 and black chromexel belt I have from Rancourt, not sure why that is. I don't think I would want it in a...
I suspect eventually the quality and competitive pricing of Alexander leathers jackets will begin to win people over on this site. The product is too good and the price too right to simply dismiss them.
But I will admit that the tenured folks here are much more into the community of these...
Longer leather jackets look good, but you have to be able to pull it off. When choosing leather jackets IMO it's critical you know which leather your personality and physical appearance can pull off.
Most, I would say can't pull off a Perfecto, or real long leather like an Aero Barnstormer or...
SOLD pending funds.
Looking at the two pics with the jacket on the floor I feel like I'm going to really regret selling this, it's breaking in nicely.
Jacket weather is almost over and I'll get my order in for a cordovan 1930's HB so it's ready for the fall. Thanks again.
I can't believe I forgot this, there are two inside pockets, on one the button is missing. I forgot because I don't really care, and the stitching is just slightly off the inside pocket, the rest of the jacket appears in excellent condition to my eye. It also has a riri zipper and is tartan lined.
Good Morning,
I'm really torn over this, but right now I'm leaning towards looking to sell my Alexander Leathers Roadster leather jacket size 40. It's described as Havana brown and uses Horween Chrome Tanned FQHH. I LOVE the jacket I just wish it was 1 inch to 1 1/2 inches longer past the...
I like the design and jacket a lot, the back does look odd right now, but I think in a different leather and breaking it in, it would look nice. I don't mind the plainness because it can be a good option for work. The leather is a little over the top for me though, I would prefer something...
I've never really thought about purchasing an A2, probably because all the ones I see on the street are ill fitting and just look sloppy, so it's sub-consciously turned me off to them. However I really like this combination, I think these knits would look really good with black too. I also do...
I work in corporate America as a VP of IT, and unfortunately I'm absolutely at the mercy of others opinions of me. I have tattoos from my time in the Marines but they don't quite fit in now that I'm an executive manager. I wear long sleeve shirts and rather mundane typical business casual...
Let's be honest, there are much better options for riding besides a typical riding leather jacket with no real padding and a pair of jeans that most people ride in. Hit the ground at 75 with this bootlegger and a pair of jeans, or a Vanson Model B and a pair of jeans, you'll likely end up just...
I have a Mitchell wallet too, it's the best design I've used with great leather options. I used to have a Bellroy but never quite liked it. It's made in Australia and things just fit wonky and getting money in and out was not easy, I'm guessing they're designed for Australian bills not US...
5'9 ~175 lbs and my Roadster (Highwayman for reference) jacket is 24 inches measuring from the bottom of the collar to the bottom of the hem. Fits good but I wouldn't mind 1/2 inch longer.
Great thread, I'm looking at buying a long half belt with alpaca lining for use as a winter jacket and keep the Roadster for early Spring and fall. Hopefully we get shots of the Aero Long HB in cordovan. I do really like that Teamster too.
This is a good point, I'm 5'9 178 lbs, which is actually considerably lighter than I was for many years. I used to lift weights competitively in power lifting competitions and walked around at 225 - 230. After dealing with some health issues I decided to take up running and just get to a...
