    Very cool. Well I'm only after the brown and Horween knows how to make a lovely brown. I'm trying to get on the phone with a Horween product manager soon and interrogate hom about the leather.

    So many options. At this point I'm between the "brown" Pinnacle horsehide and the darkest russet Goatskin Aero can find. Seal Goatskin is such a dark brown it's almost black.

    Very true. At this point it's between brown Pinnacle and Russet or Seal Goatskin. Pinnacle seems to be coming in at 1.1-1.3mm thick. The outer leather is my last decision point. Already know the pattern, lining and sleeve lining.
