    Excellent! I would have shaped that collar to death by now, but each to his own :-) You can't beat how this hide wears in and shades, never much grain but a beautiful quality all of its own. Thanks for sharing!

    Thanks again chaps. Have agree with Edward, Horweens heavy front quarter horse does age like no other hide. Not sure if it was this specific batch but the translucent shading on this jacket, after just 7 months of light wear, is a thing of beauty.

    Apart from the vintage style collar, the cut of the Premier 1930's half belt feels trimmer. The back is less puffy, so can feel a bit restrictive when reaching forward. The sleeves have higher cut arm holes and are slimmer, cuffs are are quite snug. I'd say you need a slim frame to wear the...

    Mike that's perfect, just how I like to see all my collars. It's a very personal thing of course. My long gone (too snug) GW Ventura, my Aero Premier 30's half belt and my recent vintage 40's Hercules (that latter shows you can still shape a 70 year old jacket!)
