My concern is that you end up with wear patterns that look unnatural or affected. After having broken in 8x Aero FQHH jackets and 3 Vansons, my advice is to just wear it naturally. Especially on long distance drives or during rainy season.

In the scenario where I do wear my Eastman shearling, I keep a heavy duty Canada Goose parka in the trunk of my car in case something ever happens.
