Im going against the majority here but you wanted opinions and we all have them. If I never saw the back view photos, I'd say the front looks like a properly fitting tight fit for actual bike riding. Borderline too much midsection taper/tight waist for casual wear zipped up.
But, when I...
Hmm, what size / color is your Barnstormer? Maybe Id trade my single breasted black Vicenza Aero Blizzard 40 for it. I keep going back/forth on whether to keep or sell it.
IMO - I would not trade a good condition modern Aero for a 30's vintage coat. Not unless you just planned on looking at it...
Summer heat has had my jacket addiction on pause for the past couple weeks but Im back in the game! Picked this up from the bay last night. My first Lesco. Figured Id try a new brand out, not expensive and looks relatively well made from photos.
Amazing riding jacket made out of the old famous comp weight, serial# starts with 6. No damage or funky smells, non smoker, all zip works but main zip male pin needs to be inserted carefully. Looks like prior owner reinforced with some contact cement. Ive ridden in 1+ season and it hasn't gotten...
Well not new, but almost NOS unissued 1968 G1 Martin Lane I snagged from eBay should be coming back from Great Leather / Dena with new knits in the next week or so.
This one looks pretty good/short in the front for riding. Medium shows a 20.75" front length and 26"back. And yeah, this is for a more forwarding leaning bike. Sold the cruiser got a semi cafe. I know textiles have a come a long way and some might even be stronger than leather, but I just don't...
Not sure how this model slipped past me before, but Im looking for another armored Vanson cafe racer to share the riding duties with my armored Comet. Perfect jacket on the bike but full comp weight just gets a bit too hot in humid NJ summers. Im not a big fan of the fully perforated look on an...
Better choice IMO. More versatile. I also longed for a Barnstormer, bought an amazing one in black FQHH, kept it for about a year before selling. I enjoy and wear various 3/4 styles but it was the double breasted look that just pushed it too far out of the norm ...for me. This drove me to buy...
Just got the shipping notification, my "new custom" Langlitz Crescent is on the way back from its Oregon repair/alteration journey. All 8 lbs of it! Crazy for a cafe racer, unless UPS scale was wrong. Pics to come next week
