Hey folks, I'm thinking of picking up a "goatskin" jacket. I've read that GS is very durable, yet supple. I welcome any input and/or pics you may want to share...
Thanks,

Terry,
Yeah, I usually wear a "48", but he suggested getting a "46", explaining that the RM has a looser cut than other LW jackets. He had a new one on hand that a customer returned (fit too big). I wanted a black, all-weather jacket, in a lighter horsehide than my vest's 4.0 oz hh. Honestly...
Got my LW Roadmaster in the mail today! Whew! She's a perfect fit. Seriously, I can't believe how well this jacket fits me. Stuart definitely knows his craft. IMHO, the "Roadmaster" makes for a perfect all-season jacket, especially in LW lighter 3.25 + oz horsehide. On a different note, the LW...
I'd like to get a pair or two of Red Wing IRs next, but I have to figure out my correct size - I hear they run big. I wear a 9.5, but I have wide feet, so I usually go a half size bigger, wearing a size 10.
g-r-e-a-t, this thread fueled me to spend more money, ordering a jacket from "Aerial Star" -- same jacket, but in "seal." =) Looks like a nice jacket to knock-around-town in...
+1 on the "Belt man. " I think he's out of NC. When I worked plain clothes, I wore one of his 1.5" wide belts, attaching all my gear without any issue. Top-notch quality there.
Give "Tanner Goods" a look...I bought a pair of their "Utica" driver gloves - but I see they're SOLD OUT. But, their deerskin driver gloves, currently available, look very nice too. Hmm, I may have to pick up a pair in black =)

dh66 -- Nice pics man! One has to love the nostalgia associated with a good leather jacket, especially older style biker jackets. I think they exhibit a sense of a rugged, free-spirited nature. I always do a double take whenever I see someone wearing a quality leather jacket, thinking --...
Yeah, I was immediately sold on LWs quality, after buying Stu's leather vest in BLK heavy HH. It's a beautiful piece. I'm still trying to break her in. My wife thinks I'm nuts, since I've worn it too bed a handful of times. I read somewhere that this is a good break-in method.
