Yup you're correct about LW's lighter horse. I definitely like it better for my jackets. I have a LW Roadmaster in Stuart's lighter horse, and I absolutely love the jacket. Since my initial post, I picked up 2-Speed Demons (brown/black), along with a Raider in goatskin.

I ordered a pair of black/brown "studded" engineer boots from CLINCH BRASS, of Japan, in December 2015, and they just finished making them, so they're in the mail...I'll be sure to post pics once I have them in hand.

Stephen is based out of Cardif, UK. I'm guessing he sources his leather from a local tannery. I wear a lot of selvedge denim jeans & boots, and thus I fancy rugged, free-spirited leather belts. 2.00-inch wide belts are my favorite.

Yes sir - get-a-hold of Stephen, of "YARNHIDE," via the ETSY website...Tell him you saw Rolo's 2" wide oak bark bridle belt. He's a great guy.

Hi there, the craftsmanship on these is superb. The leather artisans in Japan really know they're stuff -- kudos to them.

Thanks man! They're in the rotation, but I rarely get around to wearing them. They were a lot lighter when I bought them brand new, but they've taken on somewhat of a caramel color.
