If you're going to have Dena redo the zipper, do the shrinki treatment before. Once she puts in a new zipper or adjusts it or whatever, you can reverse the wave effect. A good soak and hot dryer will get you a half to full size. Careful with the sleeves though as they look about right.- TooManyHatsOnlyOneHead

fantastic. I have one of the 3 sixteen/schott collabs and this jacket looks pretty much the same (minus the horween teacore leather and no epaulettes on the 3-16). The one in the photo looks like steerhide, I don't think lambskin wears like that.- TooManyHatsOnlyOneHead

LOL, yep this. If you don't want to sew in shoulder pads, then do some outer deltoid exercises to give you the lift you need. Obviously lots of jackets fit different people different ways. But I know Aero has been a common theme on certain designs. My Ridley though, absolutely love it...- TooManyHatsOnlyOneHead

I have a similar line you show in your example on my FL route 66. That one I'm ok with because it's one line. And funny enough, the shoulder pad technique will fix that too, but I'm not going to mess with it. And Ton's example, I have almost the same with my Aero racer. I've gotten past a few stray lines and what not, but for my taste it was more than that. Also, besides visual, it just wasn't comfortable to wear. So for me was win win. Cost $5. I'm beyond happy. I kind of posted this elsewhere but there's a different discussion going on and it got buried. It's too important imo not too highlight because a lot of us have the aero fit issue of too much tension on the neck and creating crease lines that shoot from the neck diagonally towards the armpits...- TooManyHatsOnlyOneHead

I hear ya. That's why I put it in quotes. I've made my expectations a lot more reasonable from where I started. I'm ok with some stray lines, a fit that I can properly breathe in, etc. etc. But that clump of material creasing like that isn't necessarily a question of fit. yes, the excess material gathering is the problem. That's why when the jacket is closed, it's not as bad because there's pull to keep things taut. I'm going to try some padding in the shoulder to give some lift to see what happens (great idea, thanks). Wondering if a tailor can tweak without...- TooManyHatsOnlyOneHead

So here's a comparison shot and maybe someone can pick up on the variables, but I'm leaning towards some sort of human error and variance when constructing.
