It’s good that you bumped this thread - if members read it from the beginning it will show them the best solution and help save them from making the same mistake and ruining their hookless zippers.
I suspect the lining is too tight - May have been made too tight? Check it hasn’t pulled up and creased in the shoulder region? I had a G1 lining repaired and the same drape thing happened - solved it by tearing the lining at the neck - okay it now has a gap you can see the leather through...
Simple risk assessment = it’s useless as it is versus you can wear it once it’s fixed therefore/ spray the jacket and lining with a strong ‘white/clear’ vinegar solution and then put it in the washing machine on a wool wash setting with gentle detergent and don’t zip it up or the weight may...
Quite! I didn’t want anyone here to fall for a potential scam. I’ve read about listings being cloned and Cloners disappearing once paid for nonexistent items and this may be one?
At least one of these may be hooky?

As above with alcohol and water and buy a shoe stretcher. Wind up the outward pressure very gradually over a few hours. Ive used cheap vodka with great results - just pour a few shots into the boot, swirl to soak the leather in the area you want to stretch and insert and tighten the stretcher...

I’ve just picked up a Singer ‘featherweight’ for £80. I reckon that’s a bargain? I’ve serviced it and all appears well. Time to cull the herd and sell on at least 2 of my Singer 201k’s.
I bought a display set of stone (agate flint?) arrow heads etc. from an ex soldier turned antique dealer who harvested them in North Africa (Sahara?). He said they were ubiquitous and easily spotted around old fire pits. You can pick up reproductions on Amazon but I’m pretty sure these are...
Yes it’s a ‘Leather Ranch’ made in Canada but I reckon it was an early one made in house and to a much higher quality than later productions. Probably too many back seams for riding but well made with high quality hardware...

I bought mine on eBay from a bloke who’d bought an early version of the larger model from the kickstart website. It’s a little smaller than the real thing but the leather is the same quality and thickness. Originals have d rings on the back to attach the shoulder strap but the Satchel and Page...
