    The leather sprays you mention may be just alcohol and water as that’s an old cobblers trick for shoe stretching. I’ve used cheap tequila mixed with water to Stretch shoes wider. As mentioned elsewhere in this thread lining and stitching won’t stretch as much as leather so you risk breaking...

    A slipped tooth was my first thought too - perhaps as a consequence of not having fully engaged the male side of the zipper before pulling the slider up so needing extra force to open it. Hookless zippers look great and are fine when operated carefully but are susceptible to damage if not...

    There’s an old saying “I hear and I forget, I see and I remember, I do and I understand”. Monitor - get out a cloth tape measure, and measure your chest and a few of your favourite fit jackets.

    It was inside a long half- belt with cinch straps in a charity shop in West Bridgford Nottingham U.K. The zippers were all YKK of the type shown above and fastened on the UK/Europe side (sadly not Talon). Any ideas as to the name on the label?
