The San Fran Jr. moniker seems to be outright theft of a Stetson style from the 30s and 40s. The pleated liner and liner protector indicate 40s or early 50s. Not sure about crest dating, can’t find much on that.3” brim

That's a beauty Wyld. Should re-crease pretty easily. I think it was @Hurricane Jack who said that after he opens the crown he puts the hat on and puts a match in the ribbon to mark the center of the pinch and builds the crease from that point. I found that helpful. Or maybe that was @BobHufford.
I agree with Tuk and will add that American made products with wool content are required to state that content and with hats it almost always is listed on the size tag
Thank you Daniele. While I love vintage hats, I don't think we can say that all new hats are junk and all vintage hats are treasures. That is just not true. I have Borsalinos from the 90s and 00s that are wonderful hats that can be creased any way I want. I also have Borsalinos from the 50s that...
