I recently got an old Penny's Panama that had definitely seen better days, very dirty and the sweat was pretty much gone. Mike, Leghorn is straw from the region around Livorno. Apparently Livorno was called Leghorn by english speakers in the past. It does feel like straw rather than a synthetic.- Richard Morgan
