    This is a great shame. I too feel for you. I was similarly conflicted over the length of my aero j106. It sits right on my belt at the front and just overlapping at the back. I was pretty unsure at first but after 6 months or so of daily wear including riding, I'm ok with it. Hope your next one...

    It is pretty roomy in the shoulders perhaps in part due to the full action back. Then quite snug in the waist. I am a fat b••tard though.

    Thanks bunyip. It is black cotton drill. I am happy with it but I have been mighty tempted by the j100 on the dd Facebook page. Spot on size wise for me... I only have room in my life for one jacket at the moment.

    Haha maybe you are comfort eating? I get your point. I think the thing with rmc and indeed most japanese brands is that they are domestic brands where a 48 is gigantic. The overseas interest until recent years was limited so why would they make such big sizes? The rmc Nyc and london stores...

    Thanks guys Yeah I have stopped using the belt for now. after I get off my bike I am wearing it unzipped and I don't much like the belt dangling. Might revisit the belt in the winter when I'll wear it zipped more.
