Wearing my new Wigens Gregor "grey / Melange wool cap today. Bought it a week or so ago from Delmonico hatter. While it's 100% wool, I'm amazed at how cool it is even in warmer temp's. You'll see 3 linen caps on the table in the background drying after a Woolite washing. [emoji16]

I seem to gravitate towards Bailey's because they're really affordable and they can take a beating. I've got a Stetson Chatham for dressier occasions. But my Bailey's are my everyday hats and caps. I can own Bailey's in different colors and styles for what I'd pay for 1 other brand.
Is Bailey & Bruno Capella the same company? Or is this another confused eBay seller?
I don't think I've ever seen a Bailey hat with bound edges on the brim.
I'm a bit confused about this hat on eBay. Label inside the hat clearly says Bailey. It's lined inside, so it's not a lite felt hat.

But the seller also lists Bruno Capela.

Another question regarding the Stetson Chatham's. Mine is 12 years old and is a Sovereign in brown. I was searching for a new one in grey. I've noticed that the new versions are now Royal Deluxe.
Are the Royals more or less flexible than the Sovereign's?? ie, snap brim factor?
Sorry for...
I've got a 12 year old Stetson Chatham Sovereign that's developed some minor staining on sections of the brim. They're probably from my hand oils over the years.
Any recommendations for something that might remove them?
I've got 3-4 fedora's & pretty close to a dozen various style of newsboys.
Some of the caps are permanent dust collectors in the closet & they seemed like a good idea when I purchased them. Some of them are there because I changed my opinion on how I thought they looked on me & others because...
Thanks, your method differs from what I was told in the past from hat store clerks.
I was told to stuff tissue into them or an old t-shirt when they're not being worn to maintain their shape.
Posting this question here for the cap fans to respond. I've seen lots of articles and video's on proper hat storage, but none address storing caps.
How does everyone store their caps to maintain their shape?
I typically toss mine onto a closet shelf. Linen ones get worn during the summer...
I lived on Guam for almost 4 years. I ran a dehumidifier in the apartment to keep the humidity and mold away from my guitar and belongings.
Here in Connecticut, my 3 guitars stay in their cases when the dew points go over 70. In the winter time, I have to run humidifiers to keep the humidity...
The reactions I get depend on which hat I'm wearing.
If I'm wearing a fedora, it doesn't matter if it's western looking or not, I'll get- "where's your horse?" comments.
I get a lot of "Nice hat" or "Looking pretty Dapper, today" comments when I'm wearing my newsboys.
