2 things that I don't understand about caps #1 I don't get the trend for skinny Ivy's (Duckbill caps). #2 earflaps. What's up with that? I've picked up newsboys that I liked the looks of, only to find they have earflaps. The first thing I want to do is cut them off. -

Akubra Overload
At this point, the height of the crown on the Stylemaster is perfect for my height, build & face. It might be because I frequently switch between newsboy caps and hats. A taller crown looks out of place on me. -

I didn't intend to start any controversy. My 12 year old Stetson never shrunk, so I'm curious about why Akubra shrinks. If a hat rack is the normal for them, then I'll invest in one at some point. -

Thanks, but I've heard conflicting opinions on whether hat jacks are really needed. My Stetson Chatham Sovereign is 12 years old and hasn't shrunk. Why do you suggest that I use one on Akubra? -
