What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?

You look like Eliot Ness with a mustache ... or would you prefer to be one of the "public enemies" :) That crown looks extremely high.

    Panama Hat Thread

I have one Sissal and several Panama straw hats in differnt qualities. The Sissal fibers are very thin and fine-woven; feel, stiffness, weight and breathability are comparable with my best Panama hat. I do not no if all Sissal hats are of that quality. Because I didn't like the original...

I have a few "fuzzy" hats I wear occasionaly, but their fur is not as long-haired like your hat. If you wear it with a large-collar shirt and bell-bottom pants, you could go as Pimp from the 70's :-)

Just by the way: even MAGA caps are made abroad :-)

    Pre- 1940s Stetson dress hats.

Beautiful and worthy for a any hat museum. I love those frayed bow ends; are they considered typical for that era?

I am curious; why does it have to be 100% made in USA?

How about another hat for the summer time? Maybe a light weight felt, without liner, which already has holes? Better yet, a straw hat; best for really hot weather. Does it have to be new? You will probably get better quality for less money buying an older vintage hat. Check the offers for...

    The BORSALINO BROTHERHOOD

Thank you very much for your kind feedback, Daniele. It is exacly like you said: "it is difficult to judge a Borsalino (or others) without having them in the hands or better on the head" Buying online, I can only judge a hat by the images and the information provided. Images can be of poor...

    The BORSALINO BROTHERHOOD

A novice hat collector, like me, and other non-experts are just trying to follow some kind of logic: "Extra Superiore" is expected to be better than simple "Superiore" "Extra Extra" is expected to be better than "Extra" and so on ... I don't mean newest Borsalinos; but the models from the second...

What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?

I understand: So paying more money for "Speciale ... Extra Superiore ... or ... Extra Extra Superiore" is no guaranty for better quality. But there is at least the chance that the hat could be better than standard quality, correct? I am sure you can get a higher price selling an "Extra Extra...

The name "Flagship" and the plane are so cool, beautiful hat. I can see why they are so desirable :-) I assume they can be considered an earlier version of the "Stratoliner" models? When did Stetson last use the name "Flagship"?

Men's Cologne / Men Of ( STYLE ) THE FEDORA LOUNGE What Are You Wearing ?

I personally have a positive connotation with "Old Spice"; my Dad (R.I.P.) used it, so the smell reminds me of him and my childhood. OK, it's a very simple and old-fashion scent; so what, it's still unique and sticks out (aka: smells out) of the crowd of countless scents on the market today...

What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?

Yesterday I removed a similiar stain from a Borsalino with isopropyl alcohol. It did the job.
