    @red devil did you ever receive your jacket? A recent post by @Marc mndt in the Cool Jackets Owned by Others thread ignited interest for me. Btw I received a quote from the studio of 170,500 yen for the fringe model Tex, 2 month lead time.

    Just went through their insta. I think I like the version with the curved pockets a bit more but both are NICE. The stitched belts and buckles are also cool.

    Speaking of Iron Heart, my first piece is this Wabash vest. Took some impromptu photos this morning. Figured out that I need to pull in the backstrap a bit as it has no taper. I think it adds a nice pop!

    Then you have Iron Heart’s approach - this is the leather, the guru has selected it, buy it or not! Obviously the faithful are accustomed to this approach, but I do think it has wider appeal by simplifying things.

    Back home 2 weeks after an impromptu “hurrication” with the fam due to Ida. Glad to be back! We were very lucky and everything is ok apart from some cleaning up which is now (mostly) done. Time for a little dinner w my better half.

    Got one of the Iron Heart wabash vests heading my way. I was the only bidder for a very nice price. Not sure about delivery since I’m currently evacuated…I suppose stress purchases don’t bear too much rumination

    Ha! Yeah we’re on the Gulf and surrounded by warm water on all sides…much of the city itself is actually below sea level. A lot of my collection is lighter stuff, and my Ryder vest definitely gets the most wear. But I think everyone needs at least ONE jacket to wear when it’s cold and windy...

    The Pendleton coat arrived. It’s so mega, I love it. Definitely overcoat territory. My better half suggested we make a trip to Alaska upon seeing it…not a bad idea!
