Sorry,
It seemed to me that I have written in English)
There I wrote that my G1 also squeaked, but then after I wear it often, squeak stopped itself)))
It seems to me that it made not from goatskin, but cow. I have Cooper A2 goatskin and there is quite a different leather.
You mean that the epaulets are too moved forward? They write on their website that were inspired by Bronco. I am a little confused by a very wide elastic bands on the cuffs (they seemed stretched initially). In the photo of course difficult to understand.
Hello to all.
Does somebody has Danish A2 by AVILTHR?
http://www.avilthr.com/product/a2-flight-jacket-seal-brown/
Interested in what about quality for this money and how this jacket corresponds to the canonical WW II A2 .
Thank you Siggmund!
While seamstress working with shoulders of my jacket, a have new idea about patch.
My good friend the artist was able to create this nice crow from 47-th bomb.sqn.
I like it though I asked to do one another one with alligator ( insignia Filorida gunner school circa 1942).
Today has received the Cooper. 40L for my 180 sm and 100 sm chest It fit nice, but too wide in shoulders ... despite the fact that my broad shoulders.
But nice jacket, I will try to give it to the atelier and take to make this shoulders smaller.
The next step ... tried to find a suitable piece of leather in correct color.
Now I did not understand, I managed to get what I wanted or not. In any case, the original color of leather inner authentic patch image is heavily dependent on the calibration of the monitor.
This is valuable information, Hypoxic. I hope my 40L will fit me OK. I also tried several US Wings A2 and did not buy them, because they looked like bubble on me.
I love my G1. This is the original USN G1 1973 jacket Brill Bros. I bought it new, but it had a strong smell of storage. Professional dry cleaning and hanging out to the sun and the wind helped.
Thank you. I will write here, when it comes to me. It may take two weeks. Jacket in Seattle, but I in Moscow))) USPS is not the fastest mail in the world ))).
