Looks like typical commercial M65.
And as far as I know in early Vietnam war there were no longer M43, but used M51 (it's a slightly different jacket with diferent hood)))
I wear it several times (and twice this girl flew with me)... begins to show an individual character)))
Very soft and comfortable ... waiting for warm weather)
Of course, this is terrible when the weather is not typical for the regions and where the usual warm becomes unusually cold. People are not ready for such surprises ... climate changing?
I read and sympathize freezing americans.
Weather that you have now for us usual winter weather.
Exactly one year ago in Moscow this day was -29.6 C (-21.28 F). If the wind and humidity add to this ...Cold for us too...
But this year is very warm, there is no snow and only +3 C (37,4 F)...
Absolutely agree.
I had and have many M43 /51/65 jackets, they were all GI, and I saw many labels.
One of my M65 also So-Sew.
All exactly so - nothing to add to what was Peacoat said.
Looks like commercial lable for M65 made for civil market, not like GI.
There is never inscription "made in USA" on army issued M51/65.
Perhaps this is not a fake, but a jacket produced not for the military.
If you will show photo of this jacket, its zippers and other details and also a...
I agree about bit small pockets, nevertheless I really like mine. It has bit relaxed fit compared to other my jackets, I can wear a sweater under it. And mine W&G has nice vintage look and patina. I will keep it)
No, thanks))) I stably 78 kg and even "healthy" onboard catering do not help))), besides my other jackets fit perfectly.
And this one is good too, I just wanted to "achieve perfection")))
I wonder what if I increase the water temperature?
It would not shrink more?
In general, I am pleased with the result. It's a very old shabby jacket and I like the way it looks. But another 1 cm, I would have "removed")))
