    I make no claims to be an expert. What I see is a liner, size tag and box tag that all are identical to the Lyon and I believe Biltmores of the 60's and 70's. It could be the three are separate but sourced components from the same place.

    Thorobred looks to be the same hat as a Lyon 100% beaver I have. I think they were a Biltmore made hat.

    Hat Criminals be forewarned!!! There is at least one county in Texas where hat crimes will bring the full weight of the law to bear against you! The DA also has the best head cover of any DA in the state, maybe the whole country.

    It is a raw edge but usually there is a glue residue under the binding and rows of holes from the stitiching.

    I don't think there is really an answer to this question. I'm not so sure anyone has ever collected enough hats to reach that number. I think "infinity" is being redefined as we speak based on this number of hats in question. If there is such a number then maybe the person who owned that number...
