More 1920's goodness, most of these are 30 pages or more...:)
I really need to find a good bar/stick scanner........
Really wild ribbons in the 1927 catalog.
Ok, is no one else sharing their toasters?
Well, here are two more "Flip Flop" toasters, BOTH patented in 1914 and each circa 1920 or so. Both toasters feature a nice wide top to keep your toast warm.
Each also has an extra long cloth cord with a build in on/off switch, a nice feature for the...
What....you did not keep the mud wasp cells???? You could have cut the ends off and stuck cigarettes in them, add Three matches in the ribbon and one upped Fouquet! Bobquet, I can see it now!;)
Here we have a WW2 entry I found yesterday with its "packaging" intact. NO other labels or tags. Original price of $.15......in pencil. Love how they used the dot on the "I" in Victory for the decimal point for the 15 cents.
It's NOT pink...it is Salmon. ;)
It fits fine.....in a way I like my dress hats to fit most of the time. Sits VERY comfortably though needs a LITTLE padding for a windy day. You know how it is......my work hats I like tight, don't want them going anywhere, especially when my hands are full. THANKS AGAIN Brent!!!:)
From Fellow Lounger Brent......I am really pleased with this one!:)
This will get a LOT of head time......the heathered plushe finish along with the rust ribbon is quite striking.
Well...thinking about it it MAY have been a "Fifteen Dollars" hat....I cant remember....
And I also don't remember where I put it......
I do know it was a later 50's with a Cav edge.
It was a Beaver Brook.....found the link...and WAS a $15 dollar hat...
I have ONE hat that says the "dollars" on the sweat....I posted it sometime back, and don't remember the brand just now. It was a "Twenty Dollars" hat. And now you have two, which means I have now seen three hats so marked with "Dollars" on the sweat. That Keith looks especially nice, but the...
Some recent finds......one on the right is a "Reversible Tie" with a different pattern on each side , the one on the left was patented in 1952 as a one fabric easy care tie that will not disfigure due to differential shrinkage from multiple fabrics (separate filler/backing). Green one is a "Beau...
I am waiting on this Heathered Agnoulita from fellow lounger Brent. He says the felt is rough and tough (like me.) .....I am curious to actually hold one of their hats in hand. Love the look of this one.
