Yes..it is a large stamp....measures 1 1/2 x 2 inches. I assume yours is the same?
Stamp Collectors call the large stamps "poster stamps" or "stamp posters". I have some German ones that are even bigger. They are posted around here somewhere.....probably in the German thread.:)
Yes, but they are dense and have a rough surface, therefore will adhere to one another....
They are not spun smooth fibers.
EDIT: I wanted to differentiate the protein chains. Silk is an insect (worm & spider) product with quite similar composition and durability to the milk protein...
In order to felt something you have to have a rough texture to the "threads" as is the case with fur and wool. Spun filaments like polyester and the various compositions of rayon are smooth spun fibers (like silK). Somehow they would need to rough the filaments or add wool or fur to make it...
OOps.......I actually meant Langenburg.....sorry for the confusion......there is a tread about them here:https://www.thefedoralounge.com/threads/langenberg-beaver-brands.101868/
Several posts down I did a fairly comprehensive article about the history (Post 30).....post 21 shows a Thoroughbred...
YES, yes....do not let the facts get in the way.........you saw my post as it stands and you know it! Time stamps do not lie and cannot be altered by the user (and probably not by the bartenders either).
Yes, just stomp your boots and walk away......If I were you, I would block my user content...
There are many a "hat company" that do not make but just wholesale/resale hats....even back in the day. There are private label hats made for such companies as well, "their hat" in that is is made for them exclusively and not sold by others.
AND there are/were even hat manufacturers who...
ABSOLUTELY!!!! And I have had this happen several times (I do not sit on my computer) ....someone snakes in and it SUCKS.
Now I have good success when they ad a "make an offer" option to the auction and let me know to offer my accepted price and they are sure it is me....happened again on...
"All my editing" was done well before (almost an hour) before you responded.......nothing was changed after you responded.....the time stamps which I am sure you can see, show this......there were loading issues with the forum at the time, hence the editing (which was a LOT even for me) the...
NO, you are right, we do not know one another....and I Suppose it is hard to read "poking fun, joshing around" in our words here....
BUT to you I tip my hat and say "Have a good day!"
PS: What is wrong with the fun emojis????;)

PS PS: Emojis are their to signify...."Have...
Well....show us yours when they arrive....;)
I have seen them marked as Senator, Vice-President and President and those offered were almost always 3X....which would mean either his give-aways or museum sale or even campaign hats.
I have posted pictures I own of his giving away literally stacks...
It is the Cowboy in you....You need to broaden your horizons....;)
Truman actually wore most all his hats camber style (brim up).
You are too used to seeing the look of the stiff brimmed modern OR's and well westerns in general.....they made many an OR in soft....INTENDED as a SNAP BRIM. My...
If you really want to stretch it he (LBJ) DID own the hats he gave away....He just did not WEAR them.......
BUT a good many were made and sold by others including at the presidential Library, just like the Truman ones......Ironically the ones sold at Trumans library were 3Xers with a...
Truman owned a men's furnishings store after WW1.........
He worked as a banker in 1905, when his father (a farmer) asked him to leave his $100 a month job to help him on the farm. He left the farm when called to active duty in 1917 for WW1 never to return (Father had died in 1914).
GREAT...
There is a documented LBJ hat here: https://www.oakauctions.com/_LYNDON_B__JOHNSON_Personally_Owned___Worn_STETSON-lot6051.aspx
which documents he in fact wore a 7 3/8 (same as Truman Ironically) and I have read elsewhere 7 3/8 was indeed his size not 7 1/4.
