Holy smokes! The fact that you designed that jacket yourself is amazing! Jacket looks top-notch, and the workmanship actually seems to be quite good.
Truth be told, I would love to be that one jacket guy. The romance surrounding a life with one trusty leather jacket has always appealed to me...
Because part of the fun of wearing a leather jacket is wearing it for years on end and bonding with it, seeing how the jacket forms scars and creases that were formed during all those years you wore it. The fact that you got a new, stiff and shiny jacket and turned it into a badass looking piece...
Oh, how I wish I could.. But I can't justify this one after getting a Lost Worlds A-2 and making a deposit for a pair of Role Club engineer boots. Good luck, bro.
Stellar jacket!
My zip sleeve HWM is in brown CXL steerhide, as well (with corduroy lined sleeves). I highly prefer the 4-4.5oz steer to the 3oz FQHH. It's thicker, heavier, juicier and the pull-up effect is more dramatic.
I prefer the look of 2 chest pockets and no hand warmer pockets, one of the reasons why the Vanson Comet is such a badass jacket for me. But for functionality, I am a big fan of handwarmer pockets. I can't work with chest pockets and I like to put my hands in my pockets.

Please, Ivan, snatch this jacket before I do. I should be saving up for Mister Freedom "Road Vhamps", not looking at 5oz horsehide Enfield jackets!
