Thanks, Che. I'm trying to decide what I want Art to make for me the next time I have the urge for another custom hat. I keep coming back to chocolate, or steel, or sahara, or pecan, or natural, or.....
Steve, thanks. I've steamed that thing over an over trying to get it the way I want it. I'm...
Well done, today, gents. Greg's Johnny J stands out and congrats to Charlie, Steve and Alan on the new acquisitions.
Jared, I always like the ORs, I'm always looking for another one.
Che, an old favorite is nice to have, an Artlite as a favorite is even better. What color felt is it? Is that...
Good to know that about VS light weights. I have a couple from Art and have yet to wear them in the rain since out here in CA we get rain only between late fall and early spring (if it rains at all, given our drought). I don't wear the lightweights much during those months. I will be visiting...
ingineer, as I scrolled down the page, at first glance I thought you were handling a real cobra! As for EA, I waited for almost five months last year for a BGCD, but it was worth it.
Relaxing this afternoon after a hike, wearing one of the Playboys.
hRm--nice PB/VS, also nice to see you're having some Panama weather.
case--a coupla nice ones. I've been very close to pulling the trigger on a Silverbelly CD.
Out later this afternoon with the Optimo Milan.
+1. Looks great, Scott.
TJ--Silverbelly, learn to love it! ;)
Really though, that's what makes this place so interesting. Each person has a different taste in hats. Nice looking mid-ribbon on that one.
David--a 25 is on my "find" list. It looks like you're getting settled in TX. I may be...
Steve, that is spectacular. Nice find.
David, both look good on you. I have the same view on black hats. For me, since they don't reflect light like the lighter-colored felts, they can look "heavy". But they have their place. I have a couple of black felt hats and one black Milan straw hat...
Jeff--that's fine looking 25. Looks good with the wide ribbon, too.
David--a nice Borsalino indeed!
Wonderful hats this last week. I haven't had much time to get here, so let me play some catch-up with the last three days of WHAYWT...
Lee Trinity, a Borsalino, and today, inspired by Harv's...
Jeff, Thank you. I have three Premier Strats that I bought from you guys. I've been contemplating a Silverbelly. But I'm holding out for a wider-brim Excellent Quality OR. I'm not sure if one is in the works. Perhaps Mr. Deckard will make it happen.
Awesome, Charlie! Congrats. Congrats to Mr. Deckard for his good work, too.
Now, as others have said, how about an Excellent Open Road in Silverbelly?

Daniele, you live in a beautiful place.
Rick, what a nice respite. The last time we were in the neighborhood we were on our way back to CA last New Years eve and hit an ice storm just north of Hunt on I-10. We didn't see a clear road until we got to Van Horn. I love the Hill Country in the spring.
Meterman, I think you're probably right. Since HatCo now makes the hats branded as Stetson and Resistol (and Dobbs), I would guess these are just the standard HatCo issued "4X Open Road" hats with a Resistol sweatband instead of one that says Stetson, and with a different dye as gtdean says...
