    '30s/'40s taupe 3 piece suit

It's in need of some TLC, but I know some one of you loungers could give it a good home! Low bidding price too! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vtg-Mens-1930s-3-Pc-Gabardine-Gangster-Suit-Jacket-Vest-Pants-Sz-38-TLC-Study-/121106315576?pt=Vintage_Men_s_Clothing&hash=item1c327fb938

Johnny J would like this '20s cap.

I've never seen a herringbone pattern like this. It reminds me of those illusion illustrations where it looks like it's moving but really isn't. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Deadstock-20s-Newsboy-Hat-/390591296559?pt=Vintage_Men_s_Clothing&hash=item5af10e342f

    Why!!!! Hipsters!!! Why!!!!!

NYC is already over saturated with hipsters, 1 percenters and yuppies. Mayor Bloomberg basically re-built the entire city for them, so in retrospect now that they're so common you can't even consider them a true NY weirdo anymore. There's too many of them and thanks to their trust funds my...

    Show Us Your Purchases....GUYS !

I've noticed there are more bargain prices for vintage menswear the farther west you go. When I went to Milwaukee Wisconsin in 2011 I practically bought something in every vintage store I went into the prices were so good!

    What are you wearing today??

Went with some friends the other day to restored 35 mm screening of "Safety Last" at the Film Forum. Mixed up my '30s and '50s garb to try and get a 1920's-esque feel to go with the 1923 film.

    Show us your TIES

Found this '40s tie at a Salvation Army for $1.99. It looks like it was retrofitted in the '70s to be even wider. I guess the guy really liked the design. I've since taken the new thread out and plan on returning it to it's original dimensions.

Animated Cartoons in the Golden Era

Yes! Thanks for posting those names! I remember reading about Lillian somewhere (possibly Cartoon Brew) and recall reading about how she animated the two headed monster in "Popeye the Sailor Meets Sinbad the Sailor". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AY2XeFqcBgE

1950's Overcoat I bought at a salvation army for a bargain at $14.99. Excellent condition too! Union tag oddly has "suit" instead of "garment" on it.
