    That’s what i suspected. However, I assumed that would only be if it soaked, whereas I thought most of the alcohol would have slid off. Lesson learned!

    We are our own worst critics. The jacket looks great. A 42, particularly with an aero pattern might have felt too restrictive. I agree the shoulders are on the big side, but I think the highwayman generally has large shoulders, so it’s just part of the design

    agreed, they are not terrible and I can definitely live with them. Ideally I would get rid of them. I tried a damp rag, but like I said, if there's is nothing that will fix them I will accept it. Strange though as I thought CXL was extremely waterproof
