The Big Heat on TCM. Seen it many times. Stumbled across it tonight. Saw Glenn Ford, stopped, and recognized what it was and stayed. Good cast. Better than the two stars it received.
:D
Hey friend…Nope, I am not your friend. It is especially annoying when they use the phony handwriting on the envelope. Sometimes it gets me and then I am annoyed. It makes me happy to rip the letter and envelope in half.
:D
I have seen it on the schedule a number of times but never paid much attention to it. I really like James Garner and probably would have checked it out if I had realized he was in it. Now I will.

The little desiccant packets in pill bottles. They get in the way of me getting my pills out of the little opening of the bottle. I understand why they are in the bottle. I do not understand why they do not affix them to the underside of the lid or the bottom of the bottle.
:D
After reading your review, I now wish I had watched The Americanization of Emily. This is not the first time this has happened. Thank you for your reviews!
:D
That is how we do it here as well. But like last night, we were not in the mood for anything wherein we were required to use our brain. That happens more often than we would like, but at some point we will get around to making our way through Britbox.
:D
At the rate at which I get around to watching shows that I want to watch it is a certainty that I will need more than 30 days. Quite often, I would rather read than watch a show. :D
Came in late to Where Danger Lives on TCM. It took me a while before I realized that I had seen it at some point in the past. It is entertaining enough although the plot is pretty flimsy. But it has Robert Mitchum in it so I figured it was worth another viewing. :D
Kiss Me, Stupid on TCM. I was hooked by the cinematography at the beginning of the movie which seems to happen a decent amount with Billy Wilder flicks. An entertaining enough cast, but the movie is just okay. Okay enough to keep watching, but the story is not really enough for me to stop...
