Very interesting. The felt on mine is much more supple than my Campdrafts. Regardless, Akubra got it right on this hat. -

It has an unreeded sweatband and a $7.50 price tag, so I am thinking it is more of a late 1940s vintage. Thanks to everyone for the nice comments on the Lamson! Its a pretty cool hat with great felt. -
