The Official Stetson Nutria Quality Thread

Thanks Alan. I was second guessing my dating estimate after seeing a few of your posts, so it does make sense this could be a late 30s hat due to the owner having taken office in 1939.

The Official Stetson Nutria Quality Thread

1940s Stetson Nutria Quality with Reenforced Edge. Has a little moth damage but otherwise is in great shape. Was made specially for the Sheriff of Orange County, CA that held office from 1939-1947.

"Repell-X" E.M. Scarbrough & Sons Private Label. By the size tag I believe it was manufactured by Lee. One of my favorite hats. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    THE MALLORY MILE

I am having a difficult time locating a post that I came across a while ago listing the various Mallory quality designations and prices. I've conducted a search but not seeing it. If anyone has seen that post and can locate it without too much trouble, I'd appreciate being pointed in that...

Akubra Campdraft DeLuxe Cedar Brown size 58 (7 1/4)

You're not bothering me! I am enjoying the discussion. Not sure why, but I am just more of a thin ribbon guy. It likely goes back to my grandfather and his buddies who all wore thin ribbons back in the day.
