Neil: I do believe there are other hat makers out there that can do just as good a job at making a hat (Gary White, Art Fawcett come to mind), . I have 2 Optimos and another that hopefully will arrive today (a straw milan for summer). However, for straws I also believe that Optimo makes the best. -
