Thanks mate!
l really love these shoes. Beautiful last, close cut bevelled waist and beautiful French calfskin used for the uppers. Something really amazing is the fine stitching of the uppers. They are stitched 16 stitches per inch; some of the finest stitching on Ready-To-Wear you will...
Mainly American today
Pocketsquare just thrown in for the photo...looks soooo bad lol (l don't have one to go with that outfit yet. Australia is scare for good hankies and l don't do online purchases 99% of the time)
* summer Oxxford coat
* grey Oxxford pants (made short on purpose)...
l have one pair of AE Stocksbridge wingtips. lt's not really a dressy leather so i'm not overly excited about them, but they are a tough old leather that should age really well. The thing l like is that they are low maintainance (don't need to polish them much). A real drawback for me is that...
lol . When you wear heals, don't your little toes get all crushed in the ends of the shoos, especially with pointed toes?
lol lol
l appreciate all your comments. lt has been interesting to get your views and you have all made me laugh alot.
That's why l love mens shoos so much; a good pair will last a long time. You gals are always getting ripped off when it comes to quality.
l notice alot of people here hate `patina'. l'm not too fussed about it myself: often comes off anyway.
Patina significantly adds to the cost.....takes...
l was reading somewhere that some of Lattanzi's exotic shoes can run $120,000.

Your shirts are looking alot better these days Alan. They don't look as frumpy and washed out anymore. Your shirts were always your weak point (previously); always spoilt your outfits. Now they look good. Well done.
l'm curious: do you ever get your jackets tailored? They always look great...
What years would the Florshiem be? What year did Florshiem stop making all-leather heals? 62/63??
l'll probably contact Florshiem. l'd really love to know the date of Alan's too.
l'll just say one thing Alan....your Nettleton gunboats are the best l have ever seen. l truely mean that too. Sure the European bespoke models are brilliant, but the American styles are quaint and most beautiful to my eyes. No-one does longwings like the Americans, l am very very greatful. ...
You know, l first hot excited about 50's and 60's shoes when l was a kid. Always wanted to see an unworn pair from that era but never had the chance to see it. That wanting always stuck with me until this very day. l would always watch the old films just to see the shoos. Later on..when video's...
Believe me....i've been checking ebay for a long time for the right size. They never have unworn classics in my size, they are always too narrow or the wrong size. l haven't seen a size 8D or 8E ever. When a bloke told me about them, l just had to hold my breath and get them.
l've been...
