As much as I enjoy my jackets, I'm happy to say it was almost 70 here today, so no jacket at all! This time last week there was 8" of snow on the ground!
Guys, I'll try to explain what causes this. First, as posted above, you have many layers in this spot besides the "folded over" flap that isnt sewn on edge so the zipper pull has room to travel. The machine is going to grab & pull with each stitch. The trick is, while guiding the piece through...
I know civvy jackets are a crapshoot as far as identfication, but never hurts to ask. Picked this as a resto project for $30 & was curious if anyone can ID who might have been the manufacturer. I'm hoping something might be in the pockets that will give a clue when I have it in hand. Couldn't...
I like the cab over Chevy more than the hat!

same here. been in the mid 70's for a couple weeks now, high 50's-60's at night. trees are budding, grass is growing & new growth on everything in between.
I probably get more positive comments & people taking notice of my 'Elmer Fudd" hat that anything else. It's an original civvy lid loosely based on a B-2 cap, but has a leather shell vs. all shearling. The Mrs hates it, but its really fun when strangers say they like it within earshot of her...
