Panizza under its own brand this time. Notice the liner though which is in the exact style as the Panfilo posted a few posts above.

Sometimes you know you have gold beforehand though.
Panizza Marca Oro fedora in a brown colour called Malta. Size 56 with the raw edge brim at 6,5cm and the crown at 11cm at the center dent. Wonderful almost chamois like finish to the felt and it weighs in at 105 grams. Gold!
Of the two I thought were just mud, this turned out the better one and is there maybe a glimmer I see there?
Garcia fedora in black velour. No label inside the hat but with a little nudge on the stretcher this fits me, so let's say a size 56. Again it is not the original sweatband in this hat...
Picked up a series of hats this week. Taking a shot at unknown brand hats with poor seller pictures is a bit like diggin for gold; you hope it pans out but you could end up with just mud. These first two I thought were just mud. Let's see them first.
Rey Velour Veritable fedora in black. Size...
Nice catch, John. The quality in their later hats was still there, but the models were not as stylish as their earlier output.
Nice catch, Marcel. These Export Qualität Borsalinos are always worth going for.
Love these classic homburgs, Don. Two mighty fine examples you've scored there...
Hard to beat a Gorasgu. As close to perfection as you can get in felt. Fantastic!
Looking good, Steve. Mossant has been steadily rising in my ranking list of manufacturers.
Exceptional hat, Joe. What a beauty.
Congratulations to Etsuko (and yourself of course). She's looking very stylish and elegant with that long coat. I'm with her on the preference for the second Hornskov. And foodpics; jay!
Thanks, Randall. It's definitely growing on me. Had to take some time to get it to behave the way I wanted it to, but this is a shape I can wear it in.
Maybe Mayser's best period. Wonderful hat, Steve.
Wonderful hat, John. I can just about feel that felt.
Sunday is here again and so are the hats of the week.
Borsalino Idorsca misto Lapis
Rothschild heather
Because the picture doesn't show the bow very well, here's a side view of it (don't worry the feather has gone).
Borsalino Landasti misto Salvia (yes, I know it's green!)
Borsalino...
Good to see it out and about, Bob. It deserved better than to be an orphan.
Stay warm, Charlie! Looks like the bunnies that went into the hat posthumously grew a set of ears; you want bunny you'll get bunny!:)
Good to see a black hat on display. Especially such a nice one. Lovely hat, Randall...
