" The Great British Hat Makers "

Fantastic! I would have paid $50 for that in a heartbeat (only to be declared insane by my wife afterwards;)). Quite a bit cheaper than the €1200 Borsalino mirror (still for sale that one)!

Ah, I didn't guess that Grosso Valtz lobbia was yours. Had it on my watchlist already; too bad about the small size.

    Post New Hats Here!

Thanks, Joe. It does goe well with the hat (and if you like green;)). A very fine looking hat. Joe. I would hazard a guess and say the hat is either from the seventies or early eighties. Failsworth still exists, but doesn't make furfelt hats anymore (they do still offer woolfelt hats).

    Musician's hats

Steve Harley passed away aged 73. Rising to fame in the seventies with Cockney Rebel he was still going strong. He will be missed. He could even pull off an outfit like in this clip, hat and all.

Very nice, David. A bit of sun; we can use that over here! More homburgs: always good news (even if they are green).

    Italian makers trademarks
