Martini Time... Hehehe I always enjoy cheering people up. :) Especially when I am half nekked. Hehehehe
Zendy... I have to admit that the color was lightened somewhat in post editing. Although that is my goal color, there is still a bit of yellow in my hair. Arg! lol
CherryLips... Hehehe...
Why did you start your blog?
After getting seriously frustrated with people on my livejournal and a sudden attack of privito nesseso (needing to be private), I decided to start up my blogspot journal and focus just on the vintage side of my life.
How did you decide on a topic, find your...
Thank you to all the lovely ladies for your sweet comments!! I really enjoyed shooting this style and thought if anyone would appreciate it, it would be all of you!
JupitersDarling... This was a personal shoot I did with my boyfriend. I did all the styling and he did all the snapping...
Hailey Greenhat... That is so sweet. Thank you! What a compliment too! It is great when people think your photo presence is grand. I am always afraid that I project the personality of a dead fish on camera! lol
Inky... it is so true. We want what we can't have. For me, it is smooth hair and...
SweetieStar... Thank you. I actually set those with perming rods. I did a cold set and slept on th erods over night. :)
Inky... Thanks so much. Funny you say that because I can't figure out how to get the knappy out of my hair! I can't get smooth polished rolls to save my life! Have you tried...
I posted a few in the hair thread to show off my hair, so I won't repeat those here, but here are some more from my Hooray for Hollywood series I did with my guy!
Hi Ladies...
I just took a brief looksie through this thread to catch up and I am floored with the hair that you all are achieving! Special shout out to ChanteuseCarey... that do with all the formed curls is breathtaking!
Here are some ways I have been wearing my hair for recent shoots. All...
A couple of styles from last week. The first was pre getting my roots done and no makeup... Eh... look at the style.
The second one, reminded me a bit of Paulette Goddard. Not saying I look like her or that is her style, just felt a bit like her. :-D
Odalisque... Thank you so much. It is such a nice casual style and simple to do. Just set for curls and use hair combs to pin back the hair and pull the front bangs up for poof. :-D
Shirin... That is so nice, thank you. I often feel goofy smiling for the camera. Especially when "posing"...
I don't like that particular dress in the link, but in general I think maxis are fun! I don't wear them myself, but sometimes incorporate a similar bohemian look into my style. I love the gypsy/bohemian look and to me the maxi is a simpler version of that.

No worries... I read somewhere (maybe even here at the FL) that permed hair is ok as it helps the pincurls take shape. When you do pincurls start experimenting with different set patterns. I am going to suggest to you that you try this...
With slightly damp hair, part your hair off to one...
