Thank You !! I will try them. I told the cobbler to put neoprene soles and heels on but after waiting 6 weeks for my boots when I went to pick them up they were leather. I was already pissed off so I paid him and left with them.:):)
Has anyone here tried these Vibram rubber half soles on their boots? They say they glue on and trim and it's done. I just had a pair of Lucchese boots resoled and no matter how much I try to scuff them on concrete they are still slick. I take a blood thinner and already had to have holes drilled...
I agree. I have about 15 hats that I wouldn't use anything on them. They are dress hats kept clean in boxes and they feel good when I get dressed up. The other hats are just everyday hats. Like you I have almost any kind of hat to fit the activity i'm in. My head doesn't feel right unless it is...

Here lately I have been buying more open crown western's so I can bash to a pinch front. I have become to like it better since I can handle them from the crown. I have so many cattleman and pseudo cattleman style crown they are getting old to me.
That's the reason I finally started wearing Fedora's. I have been cutting my western brims down for about 30 yrs. Almost all of my westerns have a brim between 2.5"-3". I like the lighter hat and more compact brim for riding in the car etc.
